How to request deletion
- Email dio_workflows@outlook.com with the subject DIO Data Deletion Request.
- Tell us which DIO service or connected platform is involved, for example Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, a DIO public enquiry or a specific controlled pilot.
- Provide enough information to locate the relevant record, such as the email address used, an order or lead reference, and where applicable the platform account or user identifier. Do not send passwords, access tokens or payment-card credentials.
- We may ask for reasonable identity verification before deleting information, especially where a request could affect another person's records or an organisation's authorised account.
- Once verified, we will delete or de-identify personal information that DIO no longer has a lawful or necessary reason to retain, and we will confirm the outcome or explain any lawful retention that still applies.
What may be retained
Some minimal records may need to be retained for legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, evidentiary integrity or enforcement of agreements. Where possible, DIO will minimise or de-identify retained information and will not continue using deleted information for unrelated purposes.
Connected social and developer platforms
If you connected DIO to a third-party platform, you can also revoke DIO's access from that platform's own connected-app, permissions or developer settings. Revocation is handled by the platform and may be immediate even while a separate deletion request is being processed by DIO.
Deleting data held by DIO does not automatically delete data independently held by Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft or another third-party provider. Requests concerning data controlled independently by those providers must be directed to the relevant provider.
Public intake and customer materials
If your request relates to a DIO public intake, pilot or customer job, tell us the lead, order, conversation or delivery reference if you have it. Where a deliverable or proof receipt must remain for an authorised business or evidentiary purpose, DIO may retain the minimum necessary non-content record while removing unnecessary personal material where lawful.
