DIO WORKFLOWS / PUBLIC TERMS

Terms of
Service.

Effective date: 18 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of the DIO Workflows website, controlled pilots, DIO-powered services and supported third-party integrations. By using a DIO service, you agree to these Terms and any product-specific terms shown at the point of order or pilot intake.

Important boundary. DIO prepares governed professional work and evidence. It does not silently become the lawyer, accountant, employer, regulator, academic authority, publisher or other human decision-maker responsible for a consequential decision.

1. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to visitors, pilot participants, customers and authorised users of DIO Workflows and its product surfaces. If you use DIO on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Questions may be sent to dio_workflows@outlook.com.

2. DIO services

DIO provides evidence-governed workflow, analysis, drafting, transformation, readiness, quality, research-support, communication and related professional-assistance services. Individual products may be offered as controlled pilots, production services, subscriptions, one-off engagements or other clearly described commercial arrangements.

The exact scope, deliverables, price, turnaround, review process and release conditions for a paid engagement are defined by the relevant offer, quote, order, proposal or written confirmation. If those specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the specific engagement terms govern for that engagement.

3. Human authority and professional decisions

DIO may prepare drafts, evidence maps, readiness assessments, structured recommendations and other professional work products. Unless expressly stated otherwise by an appropriately authorised professional, these outputs are not final legal advice, tax advice, investment advice, medical advice, employment decisions, academic judgments, regulatory approvals or other sovereign professional determinations.

You remain responsible for obtaining any expert, organisational or regulatory approval required before relying on or externally acting on a DIO output.

4. AI-assisted outputs and review

DIO uses deterministic software, rule systems and AI-assisted components. Automated components can make errors, misunderstand incomplete material or produce drafts that require correction. DIO therefore uses evidence, quality and authority controls intended to reduce unsupported claims and expose uncertainty.

You must review deliverables that require human approval before publication, filing, sending, spending, contracting or other consequential external action.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and materials you are authorised to use.
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, malicious or deceptively obtained content.
  • Do not submit personal information, confidential information, children's information or special personal information unless the relevant workflow permits it and you have lawful authority to provide it.
  • Do not attempt to bypass DIO security, authority gates, rate limits, access controls or evidence safeguards.
  • Review consequential outputs and obtain any required human or professional approval before external use.

6. Third-party platforms and developer integrations

DIO may integrate with services such as Microsoft, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, GitHub, Cloudflare and payment providers. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms, permissions, review requirements and policies.

Connecting a platform account authorises DIO only for the permissions you approve and the configured workflow. DIO may refuse, pause or narrow an action where required permissions, evidence or authority are missing.

You may disconnect an integration through the relevant platform and may request deletion of associated personal information under our Data Deletion Instructions.

7. Intellectual property

You retain your rights in materials you lawfully provide to DIO. DIO and its licensors retain rights in pre-existing software, systems, methods, templates, infrastructure, marks and reusable components.

Unless a specific engagement states different intellectual-property terms, DIO grants the customer a non-exclusive licence to use the final deliverables supplied for the purpose for which they were commissioned. Product-specific agreements may provide broader ownership or licensing terms.

8. Confidentiality

DIO will take reasonable steps to protect confidential material submitted for a governed service and will use it only for authorised service, security, evidentiary and legal purposes. Do not treat the public website, public issue trackers or public repositories as confidential submission channels.

9. Fees, payments, cancellations and refunds

Prices displayed as pilot, launch or promotional prices apply only to the offer described. A payment is not considered verified merely because a user or internal system claims that it occurred; DIO may rely on an authorised payment-provider or settlement record.

Cancellation and refund conditions may vary by product and will be stated with the applicable offer or order where relevant. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use DIO to commit fraud, impersonate others, distribute malware, evade lawful platform controls, fabricate evidence, misrepresent synthetic material as verified fact, unlawfully profile or discriminate against people, infringe third-party rights, or perform any activity that would make the service unlawful or materially unsafe.

11. Availability and changes

DIO is evolving. Features, products, platform integrations and pilot availability may change, be suspended or be withdrawn. We may update these Terms when the service, law or platform requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by the effective date on this page.

12. No guaranteed outcome

DIO may improve structure, traceability, quality and readiness, but it cannot guarantee that a regulator, lender, investor, employer, journal, academic institution, customer, platform or other third party will approve, accept, fund, publish, rank or otherwise favour an output.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DIO Workflows is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from unauthorised use, failure to review a consequential output, third-party platform failure, or reliance on a draft outside its stated scope. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, DIO, a third-party platform, legal compliance or system integrity, including where there is suspected abuse, fraud, unauthorised access or material breach of these Terms.

15. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the DIO Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.
